An End Is A Beginning So Don’t Wait

So with the end of a year and the beginning of a new year upon us, it is appropriate to take a look at what this means.

The End Or The Beginning?
A year ends on a certain day at a certain time because of some convention we have on paper, and a new one begins because of the same convention. So it is just a cultural phenomena. It does not exist everywhere, in all cultures. As a result, it is transient and subject to revision.

What if we decided to start (and end) years at other times? Answer: It would happen because that what was agreed upon.

Not Without The Other
A year cannot end without a year starting, a year cannot start without a year ending. They are not only dependent upon each other, but actually require each other.

What Are You Waiting For?
It’s not unusual to put one’s goals on hold. “Someday I will get to it,” people often think. I know because I did it too.

People think that today is not a good time. I’m too busy. I can’t afford it. I don’t have the right tools. I have responsibilities. I’m tired. I don’t have the space. I don’t have the room. I’m too tired. I’m too stressed. I’m too… just everything!

Life marches on. Are you going to wait until you are dead? Reminder: death is coming! Death is coming for you, and me, and us all.

So if you are not going to do now what you want and what is important to you, when are you going to do it?

So many people put off what they want, what they want to accomplish, what is important, what their life’s dream is.

Are you waiting to retire to do what you want? Maybe you will have more time then, but maybe you won’t. Health, family situation, financial situation, all have the pull that keeps us from facing ourselves and what we want to do.

Dreams die slowly. Every day of not working towards one’s dream is another small death of that dream.

Don’t wait another moment!

When Is The Busiest Moment
They say that gyms and workout places have their busiest signup times in Januarys. Unfortunately, many people do not stick with their plans.

Or they think they need to wait until everything is aligned to be perfect. That is bad, bad, bad. Don’t wait!

Speaking Of Busy…
When in the busiest time at a water treatment plant? Answer: 10 a.m. on a weekday.

Why are weekdays at 10 a.m. the busiest times at water treatment plants?
People get to their offices at 9 a.m. or so. Have coffee. About an hour later, nature calls.
