What the hell is kakistocracy?
That’s what we have allowed to smother our government. Trump’s choice of loyalty over competence means capability is ignored.
War and/Or Peace
Trump Wants Peace in Gaza, But War In America
What can be done about this villain?
Not to denigrate peace in Gaza. That would be a good thing. A cease fire is wonderful. How long will it last?
But why does he think he needs to foment domestic mayhem? In my view, he encourages domestic disorder to provide excuses to further destroy American institutions.
Outrage Fatigue
It’s really true, one quickly gets outrage fatigue at Trump’s machinations. But that’s his game, continual upheaval and distress-causing behavior. (In this way he is like China’s Mao Zedong who preached constant revolution.)
Trump knows that good and honest people will eventually tire of his lies and falsehoods, so he needs to continually up his outrageousness.
The danger to us all is that our weariness of his behaviors can divert us away from paying attention to the harm he is doing to the legal and judicial system in America.
Reversal
Peace abroad but war at home is a total opposite of the normal U.S. policies for decades, where peace at home was regarded as a by-product of foreign wars.
Of course complete peace abroad is impossible. The War Department is getting ready. I suspect Venezuela is the next victim.
Some Good Things
IMHO, Trump was stunned that his denigration of Jimmy Kimmel eventually resulted in Kimmel’s retention. That episode gave us hope Trump can be thwarted through the efforts of many in concert,
The Democratic victories on November 4 are rays of hope and sunshine. Trump is not omnipotent and can be defeated.
